Most of Beeno’s experience in business operation comes from working for hundreds of independent record companies in the Southwestern United States for the last 20 years. Beeno has performed in the capacities of: producer/composer/engineer, singer/songwriter, marketing, sales, record promotion (radio & street), and general manager activities on a daily basis. These skill sets gave Beeno what he needed to open a professional, multifaceted entertainment company.
Gam Beeno was formally trained in music theory on several instruments from the age of 10 years old, to the age of 17 years old under the tutelage of Dr. Robert Wilhite.

Gam Beeno began sequencing and programming keyboards when his grandmother bought his first Ensoniq EPS keyboard in 1986. Studying the popular producers of that era like L.A. Reid & Babyface, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Teddy Riley, Timbaland, Dr. Dre, and modernly Mike Will, London on the Track, Metro Boomin, & 808 Mafia, Beeno became obsessed with being able to mimic their production styles. These producers proved that by developing their own signature sound; they could achieve success across urban and pop cultures. Beeno wanted that same type of success for the records he produced, so he focused on developing his own signature sound and specializing at producing/composing songs for commercial release in urban and pop markets.

The first contact Beeno had with radio stations was through his former boss, Richard Omar (Motown Records) in 1990. Richard was the radio promotion representative for Motown Records in the Southwestern region of the United States. He loved Beeno’s music, so he graciously gave him a job as his intern. Beeno helped him promote several Motown projects like …
Boyz II Men’s “Motown Philly” LP 1991
Mc Brain’s “Lovers Lane” LP 1992
Beeno began his broadcasting career as a radio DJ/on-air personality in 1994. The opportunity offered him an excellent way to learn the inner workings of radio stations. It also gave him a serious understanding of the process records go through to obtain commercial success.
The first radio station Beeno worked for was KNEK, Power 104.7 FM in Washington, LA. DJ G-Man was the handle he used as an on-air personality. He went on to work at KFXZ, 106.3 FM in Lafayette, LA. The last radio station he worked at was KJCB, 770 AM in Lafayette, LA. By the end of 1998, he retired from being a radio DJ. He learned how the process of getting airplay worked, and those three markets were actually insignificant to major record labels. However, working at those stations taught him about radio politics. From the experience, he learned more about radio promotion strategies that major record companies use to get their records played and added to playlists. BDS spins get record deals!
